Inflation at 30-year high

Inflation has climbed yet  again. INE statistics institute pegged it today at 8.7% for June – taking it to the highest level in 30 years. Inflation has been increasing month-on-month since Russia invaded Ukraine in February. The value of the euro has also been falling with the collateral effects of war. Today, the euro has fallen to its lowest level in 20 years, reaching parity with the US dollar.
