Inflation accelerates to 2.8% in December

The rate of inflation in Portugal closed the year at 2.8%, 0.2% up on the rate registered in November. When it comes to certain products however, the rate is much higher. For example energy closed at 11.2% (lower than the 14.1% registered in November). Inflation within the food products market closed the year at 3.2%.
