Infarmed authorises ‘exceptional use’ of monkey pox vaccine

Monkeypox stories have thankfully reduced in number recently. The arrival of 2,700 doses of a vaccine, approved for ‘exceptional use’ in America and similarly approved now by Infarmed, has also received somewhat lukewarm response, with online commentary ranging from “who will take it? The government? Health professionals?” Meantime, the DGS has updated its advice on this illness, saying anyone who comes into contact with an infected person, but shows no symptoms, “can continue with their daily routine without isolation”…
