INEM has opened a “rigorous investigation to apportion blame” over “less than professional” photos posted on social media of two staff smiling and posing for cameras as they prepare life-saving diabetic medication. Glucagon is a solution taken to reverse the effects of hypoglycaemia. Its correct administration is a serious matter which is why so many people have apparently complained about the photos, saying they do not show sufficient respect.
