Local charity Helping Hands in the Algarve is organising its next fundraising event – a buffet dinner and quiz on Tuesday, June 11 at the Maharaja Patiala Indian Restaurant in Sᾶo Brάs de Alportel at 7pm.
The buffet will include typical Indian dishes (starters, main courses and side dishes, including vegetarian options). To accommodate all tastes, some dishes will be mild, some medium and hotter dips will be available.
All proceeds will go to the Bombeiros, a children’s home in Loulé, food donations to Casa do Povo in Estoi, support for children and adults with visual difficulties (for example by providing glasses) and riding lessons for children with cerebral palsy.
Tables of up to six quizzers can be reserved.
