THE NUMBER of passengers registered as travelling through Lisbon airport has increased by 4.3 per cent between January and June, in comparison with figures recorded in 2004, and the annual passenger figure now tops 5.1 million.
In addition, commercial figures have also increased by 0.9 per cent. The country’s airports, managed by ANA-Aeroportos de Portugal, have experienced an overall increase of 3.3 per cent in passenger traffic during the first quarter of this year.
