Vila Vita Parc resort in Porches has unveiled a new delivery service for Valentine’s weekend allowing couples to celebrate the special occasion by having a delicious and romantic meal for two delivered directly to their doorstep.
The meals will be delivered via the resort’s Home & Away delivery service in the Algarve on Saturday and Sunday (February 13-14).
There are “two luxury menus passionately prepared” by the resort’s chefs to choose from (Meat Lovers and Fish Lovers), as well as a ‘Lovebirds’ Brunch’.
The brunch menu (€210) features a bottle of Vranken Diamant Brut champagne as well as artisanal breads and Viennoiserie, homemade granola and BIO yogurt, mini tomato quiche, freshly-squeezed orange juice, crab and avocado taco, Vitello Tonatto, homemade salmon with yuzu dip and pomegranate, spinach and almond salad, Asian bites, Veal Osso Buco, grouper ‘en papillote’, mini fruit tartelette, and chocolate semifreddo.
For ‘Meat Lovers’ (€160), there will be a selection of starters such as Black Angus beef tartar, chicken gyosas and Peking duck taco, followed by a main course of Beef Wellington with duck foie gras and truffled potato purée and a duo of desserts: red berry tartellete and chocolate gateau and champagne and gold macarons.
The ‘Fish Lovers’ menu (€160) begins with a starter of soybeans with chilli, followed by prawn tartar and white fish usuzukuri. The main course is a 36-piece ‘sexy combo’ of sushi and sashimi, while dessert includes a matcha and strawberry tiramisu and champagne and golf macarons.
Wine and cocktails can also be ordered along with the ‘Meat Lovers’ and ‘Fish Lovers’ menus, costing €35 and €25 respectively per bottle.
Says the resort, “for some extra pampering, add a special gift to go with it – from Claus Porto’s votive candle to create that special ambience ‘à deux’, to a selection of romantic gifts for your loved one -, which can be added to the order or sent separately.”
Orders can be made between 9am and 5pm, while brunch orders must be placed until 5pm of the day before. Deliveries can be scheduled between 11am and 7pm and are free for orders topping €150.
