Fine & Country Algarve continues to go from strength to strength with two important new appointments this month. Lawyer Miguel Afonso Pereira has joined the team along with hospitality professional Marli Kichmaier.
Miguel, who for the last nine years has been running his own law practice in Portimão, will be assisting the teams at the Carvoeiro and Almancil offices as legal counsel working on conveyance, data management, compliance and general legal issues. In addition to his law degree from the University of the Minho in Braga, Miguel is qualified as a data protection officer.
Marli is a Portuguese national who speaks fluent German and English. She studied at hotel and business school in Switzerland before returning to Portugal in 2001, working for some 10 years as an estate agent in Silves before spending the last decade back in the hospitality industry, at some of the Algarve’s leading luxury hotels. Marli’s most recent role was as a member of the management team at the Relais & Chateaux Grand House in Vila Real de Santo António.
Marli is based at Fine & Country’s regional head office in Carvoeiro and her main role is to manage German speaking sales and listings whilst also helping to develop the company’s activities in the central and west Algarve.
