LISBON PSP police has caught 20 taxi drivers operating without licences in the Greater Lisbon area.
Officers from the Traffic Division, Divisão de Trânsito, were laying in wait at taxi stands outside the Casino in Estoril, at Campo Grande, and Belenenses between 4.30am and 8.30am last Sunday.
The 20 taxi drivers variously lacked logbooks, correct documentation of Câmara Municipal licences, fire extinguishers, work registers and MOT inspection certificates.
