Furniture giant IKEA has announced it has received the commercial licences it needs to build its huge shopping complex in Loulé. The controversial plan that has thrown the local business community into panic promises to create as many as 3,000 jobs. The Swedish manufacturer now hopes its €200 million megastore will be on track to open in part next year, with the remaining outlets opening in 2017.
