A new branch of the Iceland supermarket chain is now due to open at the Guia retail park in early October.
The supermarket, which is known for selling frozen food products, was originally to open this month but a spokesman for Overseas Supermarkets, the Iberian franchise responsible for the store, confirmed the delay.
