Officials from Portugal, Spain and Latin American countries gathered for the 19th Iberian-American summit in Estoril on Monday and Tuesday.
The official theme of this summit was innovation and knowledge, although the second day of talks was centred around the political situation in Honduras.
Renowned Columbian singer Shakira was also present at the summit and spoke about the foundation of which she is a patron, Alas, which fights against poverty in Latin America.
The next Iberian-American summit is due to be hosted by Argentina.
