Football and music are coming together with organisers hoping the crowd will reach fever pitch at a concert organised to support the Portuguese national football team on May 30.
American superstars the Black Eyed Peas will be headlining the concert organised by the sponsors of the football team BES and the Portuguese Football Federation.
The Black Eyed Peas, who had the massive summer hit, I Gotta Feeling, will be joined at the Estádio Nacional in Lisbon by Portuguese bands Buraka Som Sistema who had the country wiggling to their hit Wegue Wegue, T.T and NuSoulFamily.
Doors will open for the concert at 3pm with the first act on stage at 4pm. Tickets cost between 35 and 50 euros and can be bought from various outlets including Fnac and Worten or online at www.ticketline.pt
