Hunters refuse to pay annual licence fee this year, due to lockdown

Portuguese hunting associations want exemption this year from the annual fees their members pay the government, for the simple reason hunting has been prohibited during lockdown. In 2019, the sector brought in over €10 million in payment to the State. A decision from the environment ministry is expected to come later this month.
