Beach goers on Praia da Rocha beach on August 21 were able to watch hundreds of volunteers don pink clothing as they created a human ribbon to raise awareness of breast cancer.
The initiative was created by the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA) with participants all making a donation to the association to be used to help fund the construction of a temporary home for cancer patients and their families in Faro.
