Banks raised their evaluations on properties in July – bringing pricings back to levels seen at the end of last summer.
Square metre values for the country as a whole are now at €1,019, while properties in Lisbon and Porto are being valued at €1,221 and €953 respectively.
According to the national statistics institute, apartment values have increased also, to €1,064 per square metre, with even higher rates for apartments in the Azores and Algarve.
