House ‘explodes’ in Pombal: no one knows why

Forensic experts are still trying to determine the cause of a mysterious explosion in a house in Outeiro da Martingaça last Friday. Residents reported a loud bang, smoke, broken windows and a ‘bad smell’, but no-one knows what caused it. There were no injuries and a gas leak is not thought to have been the problem, though the explosion has been narrowed down to the bathroom, reports Correio da Manhã.
