A homeowner has called for increased vigilance from residents in the Carvoeiro area after his villa at Vale do Milho was burgled during the day on October 31.
The owner told the Algarve Resident: “They ripped out the fences and entered the house and took a laptop, mobile phones and money.
“We have five dogs and it was not enough to prevent them from robbing the house. One of our cats was injured,” he said.
The GNR police were alerted and the resident added: “The police were very understanding and did a good job.”
A spokesman from GNR police told the Algarve Resident: “The situation was reported by the owner of the house and is now under investigation.”
