Vilamoura || Hotel Tivoli Marina Vilamoura will be holding a blood drive between 10am-1pm on Tuesday September 30. Donors will also be able to register to give bone marrow.
With the motto ‘A sua ajuda pode salvar uma vida’ (Your support can help save a life), the event is being organised by the Algarve’s blood donor association (ADSBA) and the Tivoli Group with the support of the Algarve’s hospital administration (CHA).
Anyone between the ages of 18-65 can donate blood, as long as they are healthy, have healthy lifestyle habits and weigh at least 50kg. The age limit for first-timers is 60, while the age limit for donating bone marrow is 45.
