Hotel group Barata has donated an ambulance to Albufeira, saying it wants to help firefighters “deal with the borough’s increasing number of medical emergencies”.
The hand-over ceremony was due to take place as the Resident went to press on Wednesday.
The Barata group manages five hotels in Albufeira.
