Two events to raise funds for the Silves-based charity Castelo de Sonhos are being held at the Hotel Garbe in Armação de Pêra over the festive season.
A Boxing Day Treasure Hunt takes place in the Armação de Pêra area on December 26. To take part, tickets cost five euros and the hunt will start at 2pm.
On January 4, a Quiz Night is being held at the Raj Indian restaurant at the Garbe, starting at 8pm. Entry costs 2.50 euros per person.There will also be a fundraising raffle, which has been sponsored by Diamond Cleaning Services.
Teams of two to six people are welcome to take part and there will be drinks from the bar and snacks available. The winners of the quiz will receive a 25 euro Sonae Group Gift Card. To book a place at either event please call 282 320 260 or 919 266 770.
Castelo de Sonhos provides support for less privileged families and elderly people living in the area of Silves.
