A charity bike ride in Vilamoura in aid of Associação de Protecção à Rapariga, an association in Faro that aims to protect young women, is being organised by the Vila Sol Algarve, Renaissance Spa and Golf Resort on December 12.
The event, supported by bike shop Megasport, aims to raise awareness and funds for the association, which helps underprivileged teenage girls through social integration programmes.
Participants in this event should register from 9.30am at the Hotel Vila Sol Renaissance Algarve before departure at 10am.
The ride is due to take one hour to arrive at the Vilamoura Marina at 11am, with one hour’s rest before cycling back to the hotel by 1pm. The cost of taking part in the ride is 10 euros, which will be donated to the association.
