The weather was bitterly cold when the Algarve Ukulele Band performed at the Vale Silves Centro Comunitário in Boliqueime, but a lively performance heated things up and had the audience dancing the night away to the 19 musicians and singers on the stage.
A total of €1,300 was raised on the night, with €800 being donated back to the community from ticket sales, while The Salvation Army received €500.
