A ‘Hot-Dog BBQ’ to raise funds for abandoned animals in the Algarve is taking place on July 20 at the Museu do Trajo in São Brás de Alportel from 7pm.
The event is being organised by registered animal charity Voz dos Animais de São Brás, Amigos do Museu and 2ndhand4footers (dog adoption organisation) and includes a concert by local singers and musicians.
The menu consists of barbecued chicken or salmon or vegetable lasagne, accompanied by salad side-dishes, sweets, puddings and drinks (water and juice), for a price of €15 per person. The Amigos bar will be open for wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages.
Easy listening/dancing music of the ‘60s during the evening, a raffle, a stand about the work the charities do and a slide show featuring adopted pets should keep guests entertained.
Tickets must be ordered and paid for by July 10.
