Hospital demos planned for Algarve

A series of protests against government attacks on the Algarve’s state health service will be held next week – first on February 12 at local health centres and the following day at the region’s hospitals in Faro, Portimão and Lagos. “Despite the defeat of the PSD/CDS government, the attacks against the Algarve’s health services continue,” explains the users’ commission of the SNS national health services in the Algarve. The hospital demos are scheduled for 3.30pm.
