Horseman dies gored by bull in Freineda

A horseman has died following goring during a traditional running of bulls in the parish of Freineda, Almeida municipality (Guarda district) yesterday. The 53-year-old was gored in the femoral artery after his horse fell during the event. It is not clear whether the bull ‘attacked’ the horse, or whether the horse fell on the bull and the goring was accidental.
