Horror as group of walkers are hit by lightning in Azores

A magical walk to the top of a mountain on Ilha do Pico, in the Azores, ended in horror for a group of walkers when they were hit by lightning on Sunday, September 7. A 33-year-old man and the dog he was holding were killed instantly, and all 14 others suffered burns. Fortunately a doctor was among the walkers, and he managed to deal with the worst injured until help arrived.
