Homeless man to receive over €100,000 compensation

Glen James, a homeless man from Boston, is to receive more than €100,000 as compensation for his honesty when he returned a rucksack containing €31,000 to the police authorities.

The rucksack was then returned to the owner and the news appeared in the press. Having read the story, Ethan Whittington, a resident of Midlothian, Virginia, decided to start a fund to raise money for Glen James.

Whittington told the Associated Press: “I was suddenly filled with hope. This isn’t just about compensating a man. It is a message for all in America.”
