A 34-year-old man has been arrested for stabbing a security guard at Portimão’s temporary shelter for homeless people in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The attacker, described as a homeless man who uses the temporary shelter, stabbed the security guard in the stomach and also “threatened another citizen who was nearby,” PSP police said in a statement to the press.
The suspect has appeared before a judge and has been remanded in custody.
