Home win for Parkalgar

Parkalgar Honda turned out in force for Sunday’s Mallory Park ‘Race of the Year’.

In qualifying, Sam Lowes and Bogdanka PTR stablemate James Ellison were showing near record pace on the track, superior pace which was to enable the pair to show the chasing pack a clean pair of heels during the subsequent race proper.

Although Ellison was able to poach a clear lead following a crash-related re-start, Lowes was able to reel in his rival and take victory by a clear margin at the line with the rest of the 25-man field well in arrears.

Lowes was denied victory by only a split second at the last World Supersport Championship round in Spain two weeks ago and will hope to take his winning form to Brno in the Czech Republic for next Sunday’s seventh round of the exciting competition due to reach its climax in the Algarve in October.
