Home cooking at its very best

If you’re looking for somewhere with a fun atmosphere to spend some quality time with friends, family or even alone, then look no further than the Pickle  & Pie Bar and Restaurant in Lagos.

Recently opened in Lagos Marina, the Pickle  & Pie is a beautifully presented old style bar with friendly staff, great home cooking and a large outdoor seating terrace with spectacular views of the boats in the marina. Siobhan O’ Shaughnessy from the Pickle & Pie told the Algarve Resident: “The bar is created with traditional materials and furniture, and built with careful attention to detail in order to provide comfort as well as a friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere.”

Inside its spacious surroundings, visitors will find comfortable seating, a pool table and large TV screens showing sporting events as well as a range of draught and bottled beers and Guinness on tap.

“The mark of a good kitchen is how full it is,” said Siobhan. “The Pickle & Pie will not compromise on quality and that is evident in our popularity at meal times.”

The kitchen team provides a range of delights including homemade pies such as British beef and Guinness pie and house special pork bacon and onion pie, as well as other traditional dishes such as Cumberland sausage with caramelised onion and Guinness gravy and creamy mashed potatoes.

There is also a Sunday menu featuring three courses for 9.95 euros and all chips served are homemade.
