Portimão have been forced to play their Portuguese water polo championship home games 300km outside the Algarve at Rio Maior, Santarém.
The change of venue, however, does not appear to have harmed the title holders chances as Portinado took a 2-0 lead over rivals Salgueiros at the weekend’s best-of-five play-off finals.
