The QM Garden Centre in Santa Barbara de Nexe is hosting a hog roast on October 10 as part of the outreach from St Vincent’s chaplaincy.
Families and children are welcome and part of the funds raised on the day will go to charity.
Two student nurses will be benefiting from the generosity shown in the fundraising by the Chaplaincy.
During Harvest Festival at St. Luke’s Church in Palhagueira, members of the congregation donated food, which was distributed to needy Portuguese families.
