A PORTUGUESE helpline dedicated to giving information about HIV, which receives around 900 calls each month celebrated 15 years since its inauguration on February 28.
Linha Sida’s coordinator, Paula Silva de Sousa said: “In the first few years, we received many calls relating to the absence of information on HIV, especially its transmission and prevention. Now people have that information but they want to ask about the real chances of infection if they have put themselves at risk.”
