From yesterday (Thursday) the Portimão Motor Park is hosting another spectacular Algarve Historic Festival boasting a wide range of cars from times past which have made racing what it is today.
The unique event, which reaches its climax on Sunday, offers entertainment regardless of your automotive preference.
The 21 races involve many famous names which have graced the sport over decades gone by such as Tony Brooks, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Tim Parnell, Nanni Galli, Maria Teresa de Filippis, Mario de Araujo, Richard Attwood and Pedro Lamy.
The four-day spectacle features historic Formula Classes, a round of the Stirling Moss Trophy for pre-1961 sports cars and racers and Touring Cars amongst a host of other competitive displays.
