Over 180 guests took part in the day-long celebrations at Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa to mark the hotel’s seventh birthday.
As anyone would expect from a complex surrounded by some of the country’s most famous golf courses, first up was a tournament in which 59 golfers took part.
The day progressed to spins in various models of Porsche cars, time out by the pool and in the spa, followed by cocktails to the sound of Portuguese guitar music in the Tejo Foyer.
The pièce-de-resistance was a dinner and tournament prize-giving, in which entertainment continued in the form of musicians and dancers.
The resort’s director-general Dinis Pires affirmed that this was a year of many changes for the Hilton, all of them designed to further client enjoyment.
The complex that has won many World Travel Awards over the years was this year distinguished with a “Green Key” accolade, which centres on hotels with solid environmental practices.
