A PASSENGER on a British Airways flight from Delhi to London was horrified when he woke up to find a dead woman sitting near him.
The elderly lady had died shortly after take-off and cabin crew had moved her into first class, along with her distressed daughter. The passenger, Paul Trinder, reportedly said that the body kept slipping off the seat due to turbulence and had to be wedged into the seat with pillows. British Airways apologised for any distress caused, but stood by the cabin crew’s decision and said that it would have caused more disruptions if the body had been left in economy class.
