A HISTORY lecture on Heroes and Anti-heroes of 20th Century Portugal: Part 1 by Peter Booker will take place next Friday (February 29) at Tavira’s Municipal Library, from 11am.
In a recent contest for the top 10 greatest Portuguese, Salazar was voted number one but other significant faces of Portuguese history have also made their mark including Duarte Pacheco, Miguel Bombarda, Sacadura Cabral, Gago Countinho and Candido dos Reis.
