Zoomarine in Guia can’t decide on a name for its new baby bottlenose dolphin, born on October 31 at the theme park, and is asking for your help.
For the past month-and-a-half, the young female dolphin has been nursing and swimming alongside its parents Missy and Lotus, and now the time has come to settle on what she should be called.
The theme park has narrowed it down to six names – Ariel, Íris, Mara, Paz, Prata and Silver – which can be voted for on Zoomarine’s Facebook page until Tuesday, December 22.
The birth is seen as another milestone in the theme park’s dolphin reproduction programme launched in 1999.
