THE LIONS Clube de Loulé is a charity dedicated to helping the local community and, this year, they are raising funds for the Loulé bombeiros.
Already, six full fire protection suits have been provided and a further six have been purchased, awaiting presentation.
More equipment is needed including lifesaving de-fibrilators. The main way that the Lions raise money is with their sales of nearly-new clothes, linen, shoes, bric-a-brac and books. The last sale on September 25 produced 961 euros, enough for another fire protection suit. Many thanks to everyone who supported the event.
