A fundraising event at the Cockerel Country Kitchen in Albufeira, held by the Carole’s Buddies club, raised a total of £900 for the Help for Heroes (H4H) initiative, not €900 as was previously stated in the December 2 edition of the Algarve Resident.
The group will host their next meeting at the Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra, at 7.30pm on February 15.
