Heated tobacco “won’t carry shocking images” on packs

Heated tobacco products are to dodge the requirement to carry shocking images on their packaging, in the way that cigarettes have to, for the reason that they are considered to be ‘tobacco without combustion’ and so less unhealthy than ‘traditional smoking’. But the fad for ‘aromas’ is to be phased out. According to reports, outlets will be able to sell heated tobacco with aromas until the end of 2025, to allow for the sale of stock entering the market up until the new legislation is published in Diário da Republica.
