Health minister tells Antena 1: we’re not ready to talk about reopening schools

Despite affirmations in the Portuguese media last week (click here), Portugal’s health minister Marta Temido has told Antena 1 radio station today that the government is “not ready to talk about reopening schools”. The situation is still not “calm”. “We are keeping this information conditioned to a set of circumstances, a series of meetings and concretely to a calendar announced by the prime minister that on March 11 we will give a set of rules, which if certain assumptions remain, will then apply”, she said.
