Health minister Marta Temido has called an emergency meeting of the Council of the European Union today to discuss the EMA (European Medicines Agency) decision on the safety of the AstraZeneca vaccine following new concerns over the risk of serious blood clots (click here). EMA’s decision is due to come at 3pm this afternoon. The emergency meeting of the Council of Europe will come at 6pm.
