With all political parties throwing in their pennies worth into the ring on what the government should, or shouldn’t be doing, to help the country through the inflationary crisis, CDS leader Nuno Melo has gone a step further. He believes health minister Marta Temido isn’t the only member of the inner circle of government who should be going. Agriculture minister Maria de Céu Antunes and Infrastructures minister Pedro Nuno Santos should also be given the boot, he says, as they have both shown massive failings in ability. Mr Melo’s opinion is widely shared, both in and outside of parliament – but the PM has recently rejected any suggestion that he could be organising a cabinet re-shuffle, so soon into his third term at the helm.
