THE INSTITUTE of investigations into fishing and the sea moved its headquarters on November 1 from Lisbon to Olhão in the Algarve.
Castelão Rodrigues, regional director of agriculture and fishing said “This is an administrative management structure, where the national institute for the investigation of fishing (IPIMAR), and the various state organisations relating to that industry will be based”.
As well as this, a new institute has been created, the Instituto Nacional de Recursos Biológicos (INRB), the national institute of biological resources which will also be based in Olhão.
