THE HEADLESS body of a 37-year old woman was found in the Ludo pine forest near the University of the Algarve in Gambelas, Faro, on November 8.
The body, which was also missing a leg, was found in an advanced state of decomposition and is believed to be that of a woman who came from Coimbra, in the north of Portugal and worked as a prostitute.
According to Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã, an autopsy has not revealed the cause of death. The Policia Judiciária is investigating the case.
