It appears that those in a position to help have finally appreciated the seriousness of the plight Portimão FC finds itself in.
Last Wednesday’s sixth attempt to find someone willing to take on the club presidency should have resulted in either João Sintra or Fernando Rocha being re-installed at the helm.
The two men, who have both held the office before, declared themselves prepared to take on the job once more in order to help the club out of its precarious situation.
Meanwhile midfielder Semedo has joined Portimonense and sources close to team affairs have said that a full squad will be in place at the end of this month.
