The world-famous Harlem Gospel Choir, which performed in Times Square on the day of Michael Jackson’s funeral, is to pay tribute to the legendary singer at Estoril Casino, near Lisbon.
The Concert of Hope, a special homage to Michael Jackson, will take place in the Black and Silver Room on December 6, at 9pm.
It is the first time that the choir, currently on a world tour, will perform in Portugal in what promises to be a unique and, different concert, focusing on some of the ‘King of Pop’s’ more well-known hits as well as dipping into their own repertoire of gospel classics.
The Harlem Gospel Choir was founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey and embodies the crème de la crème of gospel singers from black churches in Harlem, New York.
The prestigious choir has already performed as backing singers for international performing icons such as Diana Ross, Jimmy Cliff, Paul McCartney

The Harlem Gospel Choir also performed for President Barrack Obama during his electoral campaign.
