At the beginning of this month, 10 ladies from the Algarve celebrated Iris Osborne’s 90th birthday at Don Giovanni’s restaurant.
Iris was born in Chile and came to Portugal on her birthday in 1969. At 90, she is still an active golfer and you can see her practising her swing and playing on the Ocean Course in Vale do Lobo regularly. As well as golfing, she is a keen painter and has held many exhibitions over the years.
Iris is full of life and her story is a book in itself, she is fun to be with and is, considering her age, in good health. Everyone at The Resident would like to wish you a very Happy Birthday – have a good Christmas and a very merry New Year, Iris!
